Transpower's 220kV Cable Jointing Project
Introduction
This project involved installing six 220kV XLPE cable joints.
Deliverables
Site Jointing Engineer. This included work auditing, quality control, technical co-ordination and preparing a quality report.
Writing project Quality Plan
Writing procedures for sheath repair, PD sensor installation,
Carrying out x9 PD tests on two 220kV circuits. Testing all 19 joints / terminations. Developing plans and reports for these tests.
